Here's another turtle that Ben rescued from the pool. He was so funny, he was petting it, and talking to it while he cleaned the duck weed off of it. We didn't want him carrying it to the pond.

He was checking him from every angle, that's the last thing we want to deal with right now. Duck weed can turn a pond green, overnight.

Just in case you're unfamiliar with it, this is it, the green stuff on the pool.

This picture has a little beauty in it, the wisteria is blooming again, and the "slice" is from the last tree we cut down. A souvenir.

We always keep a wedge or slice from every tree we loose. These are from the last two trees. Silly, huh?

The day lilies are blooming. That makes me happy.

The hydrangeas are pretty. That makes me happy.

The wisteria is beautiful. That makes me happy.

The privets are growing up around the pool again. That makes me happy.

And a lot of the yard looks reasonably nice. That makes me happy.

And, the pond always makes me happy.

This, does not make me happy. I wanted so badly, to have the pool up and running, by the 4th of July. Maybe by the 4th of next month.

Maybe by the 4th of next month, it will look like this again.

And, I'm trying to do a little something to the side of the house, just not making much progress.
