Still A Work In Progress.
Well, the pool is full. The PH isn't quite right yet, the filter hasn't been reconnected, and we have the pump up here by the diving board, (to recirculate the water, until we get it all hooked back up), but it's so much better than it's been in a long time. Plus, we've still gotta replace the fence.
Here's the filter, poor thing had a tree fall on her, but believe it or not, she still works. Just gotta get it all put back together. The last couple of months have been unbearable. The heat and humidity have been record breakers, and neither Ben or I do well in the heat, but slowly, we're getting there.
Hydrangeas that I discovered under all the rubble and growth. Still holding on.
The pond, some catfish (the dark spot in the middle of the sunny spot), and DUCKWEED. (A small floating aquatic monocotyledonous plant). I HATE DUCKWEED! Now we have another project. To kill the DUCKWEED. I HATE DUCKWEED! We have to kill it, or it will smother the pond, and kill the fish. Besides the catfish, we have LOTS of goldfish, they're just never around when we have the camera handy.

I knew we had day lilies, they've also been under rubble. Look closely, you can see some goldfish in the middle of the sunny area.

We still have pieces of broken stepping stones, birdbaths and pool, laying around. But, we're getting there!
This reminds me of something out of a movie, but I can't remember what it is. A robot, maybe?
A little tranquility. And the water is almost blue.
Look at the difference in the size of the trunk of this tree and the one that was cut down. Directly to the left of it. How many years will that take?
